Harry Potter Wapping Paper

Quebec!

Our social life here is beginning to grow!
Last Sunday we were at a brunch at a French friend, Dawn (but we forgot the camera!) And Yesterday evening we had a squeegee in Quebec Myriam!
In fact it was rather a mixture of Raclette and pierrade! We had the cheese here, beef, shrimp, salad, asparagus, broccoli, potatoes and lots of canned sauces! It was not as rich as ours, vegetables brought a little freshness, a very good experience, see more ...

From left to right: Nico, Miriam and her daughter, Aurelie Denis and Chantal.

Oh yes there were mushrooms, red wine, Australian and Canadian white!
Clearly Aurélie also likes raw vegetables, here is a potato

Before this very good meal Myriam Chantal and Denis went to do some shopping while Aurélie that we keep ... yielding paper airplanes, leaves scribbled, chases between lounge and kitchen and ... some pictures ...

Aurélie also likes Nico's bag, although a bit big!

Oh, a camera!

is abstract art!

"Hey make me a gizmo that makes" click! "It was I who used to play with!"

c'qu'on is beautiful close up!

The meal that began about 18:30 (yes we eat here soon!) We had a lot of time afterwards to try a new game, proposed by Denis and Chantal, "Settlers of Catan (The Settlers of Catan) It's a board game, you are on an island there are houses that, depending on how they are placed, we report the rock, bricks, wood, sheep or wheat. With all these materials can build roads, houses or other cities. Then you win points and first to 10 wins! Gaëlle was there almost until it is done ruining and losing! It was very funny and easy to understand. We think the search will return when what we will do good evenings playing with friends (e) s.
Little preview ...

Nico has stored all his little parts as well he should!

course, like everything we eat here at any hour, we played until midnight and a half to suck up the lost bread syrup Maple ... chips! Hello kilos!

Pokemon Rom With Built In Wifi

Hello everyone!

After a week without news, we're back in great shape for a quick summary of our adventures!

But above all, on request of Noah, here are some funny things and useless ... others, we see here every day:
- Buses ... and their wonderful organization! Lol, MDR, RTTP, XPTDR ... hahaha. They are not really really on time, especially during peak hours and they offer matches very, very short and therefore impossible to have! In addition we had a very pleasant surprise ... since we discovered that our bus stop (2 mins walk from the house) was in fact not served between 6 am and 9 am, at which time we go often, hehe!
- Shutters ... non-existent! We do not yet know why but no house or any building has shutters. Simple blinds are sometimes installed and suddenly we are often awakened per day.
- The King of buses and cafes in the morning! Yes yes, in the morning to arrest the busiest one is entitled to a magnificent spectacle of buses being held in a dance millimeter (not that ... but you'd see between 2 buses there should be only 5 cm, without exaggeration! !) as well as pedestrians, coffee in hand slalom gracefully (or not) and fluidity to avoid spilling their precious beverage!
- Milk ... Forget the bricks my friends! Here milk is contained in ... plastic bags that can go up to 5 liters!
- Cereals ... Apart from a few brands that are found in France, we have discovered a lot! Including one with Nico is quite fond of (and even more since Gaëlle devours them all!) Called the Mini-Wheats. They are architecturally indescribable but full of fiber, with multiple tastes ... blueberry, maple, strawberry, cinnamon, brown sugar ... Delicious!
- And the funniest news this week is .... the loss of our first mobile phone, the same day that we had bought a second! Very sad loss, the bus (another story bus?). We are in search and we'll keep you posted soon ..... 15 minutes later ... Nico returns victorious with the laptop ! Glory to him! Well well well

, after these festivities here is what we experienced this week ...
Internship at Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi de l'Outaouais for Nico and testing in a family of 4 children for Gaëlle!

Gaëlle:
In fact, following my appointment last Friday I got three days of tests in a bilingual family, 4 children, living in a big, very big house in Ottawa!
2 mornings with the 3 younger and an afternoon with the 4 children who ultimately ... helped me find a job! Yes yes I am no longer at the test, it's official! So I'm
:
- Maple when not in school, lively girl, a bit painful, who speaks French fairly well, likes to make his little head (hey I see you coming!) and find that I'm nice!
- Hudson (pronounced "Adsin" is the name of a British explorer who gave his name to Hudson Bay, which lies north of Canada), the painful family, under weasel, which has continued to test me but that is fairly high for not going after his stupidity when he said that just stop and just ask "Whyyyyyy ???".
- Logan, he does not speak very well yet but signs to be understood, it follows movement and plays with everything that comes to hand! He eats very well by itself (unlike Hudson) and is not too painful.
- Mackenzie, the most adorable baby in the world, which resembles Lauriane small, ie it is a ball (haha). He moves from his bed to chair top, the swing, the play mat ... without saying anything! And when he grumbles a little just go and see him smile and off you go again! I even learned to fish with his mouth!
practice, as parents work at home I have to watch and play all this small world! For moments of everyday life parents there (meals, snacks, diaper changes, nap, etc.) The mother speaks French to me (and kids should too, but their English is faster!) and my dad speaks English! I understand the essence of the message but not always in full what makes me go for a retarded sometimes!
Otherwise, interestingly ... the children call me "Gueuyelle!

Nicolas: Thanks
to meet Serge Aylmer (see previous story), I went for 3 days following a "strategy job search. I learned how to design a resume Quebec on top (which I will use only 5 months old but good), I had a job interview techniques, interview is said here and I had more knowledge about the Canadian job market. Here 90% of employment is through its network: the set of people who know that looking for a job (family, friends, office colleagues, neighbors, roommates, ...). It's word of mouth actually! So since then I tell anyone who will listen that I want a small job. I also learned that here people can have several jobs at once and did not unusual that people change quite often (a resignation application only 2 weeks with just a little letter, even without a letter of all). So the
Next week I'll point me everywhere with my resume in hand and come hell !!.... Anyway Gueuyelle makes money for us so !!!!!!

How To Torso Look Good

"Piiiiiiiiink !!!!" or how Gaëlle met a little boy who loves pink ... Other new and varied, diverse and entertaining! The game

Uh ... me I would rather say "purple", but whatever!
Here is the first reaction Atsina (I am not sure of spelling) 3 and a half years, seeing my socks lorsqu'hier I went in his family for an interview!
Atsina is the second in a family of 4 children, all aged under 5 years! Maple, which means "Maple", 4 and a half years, Atsina, Logan, the highest mountain in Canada, 2 years and Mackenzie, the longest river in Canada, I would say 10 months! They live in Ottawa, in a house that could be described as palaces and come from a bilingual family, Dad's mom speaks English and French. It was looking for someone able to care for her children every morning in their speaking French. My interview went well but I was not the only candidate, so I would have a definitive answer next week!

Otherwise, we are very proud to announce that we won our first $ 50!!
Nico with a dog walk went very well for an hour Wednesday and keeping Aurélie Gaelle (daughter of the chief Nico), 22 months, very cute but very temperamental!!
We hope this is just the beginning!
But it is not regular jobs we decided to turn to the "Youth Employment Carrefour de l'Outaouais (Outaouais region of Quebec is where we are!). Found on the internet, looking for a job, it is an organization that helps people, especially newcomers in their job search (resume writing assistance, contact with employers and employment agencies, sort of temporary agencies).
So Wednesday, when we went there we met a charming gentleman, Serge, yes as the father of Nico! who advised us we register for a course. Thus, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we spend our days like this, hoping it will help us to understand better the functioning of the work here and this is also a new opportunity for meetings!

Here we had a thaw for 2 days we have surpassed the 0 ° C and it was with great pleasure that we found some pleasant temperatures for the country, between 5 and 10 ° C, pure bliss! But it was not counting on the return of cold and his best friend the wind ... A true horror !!!!! unbearable, especially after the lull!

Aaaaaaaaaah ouiiiiii! You were not told!! Last week we went to a cinema with a HUGE (Imax) to see (finally see or even rerevoir!) Harry Potter 7 ... Canadian version! "Stupefy tabernacle! We found this wonderful wonderful!

So let's start with the pieces. On their face they are all struck by the head of Elizabeth II on their back they have different representations. Here cents, or cents, are called "sub"
1 cent, small room next to impossible to refourguer! Struck a maple leaf.

5 cents, hit a beaver
10 cents, struck a schooner. It is smaller than the piece that 5 cents.

25 cents, struck a Caribou

$ 1

$ 2, hit a polar bear.

Now here are the tickets. So for now we only have two kinds of cuts because the other parties are soon in our various purchases or housing or are safe in our safe deposit box at the bank! We will add pictures when we have again:

C-section Skin Sensitive To Touch

1 month in unknown lands

Hello everybody Today we celebrate our first month on the New Continent! Here is our first review:

- We stayed in 2 hostels and 2 "houses".
- We now have address here: 5 Millar Street, Gatineau, QC J8Y 3N4 CANADA.
- Nicolas found a little job and waits for an interview for a position as a personal trainer in a gym (but do not put the cart before the horse or the cart before the caribou, we'll talk when it's done! !)
- Gaëlle found two small child care (not permanent) and it just passed today an interview for a French teacher for English adults. (Not very conclusive because it says "you're young and you have no experience, but if your resume is selected I call you Monday!")
- We made several friend (s) French (es) , Quebecois (es) and Colombia.
- We took 463 photos
- We certainly gained a few pounds! (But chuuuut!)
- We have a Canadian phone number: 819-208-8477
- We finally have a bus pass allowing us to go everywhere!! But we still have a little trouble with the bus stops with no name!
- We survived the freezing temperatures, not without difficulty!
- Nicolas arrives to cope quite well in English, Gaëlle's another story!
- And finally we made lots of new discoveries such as the size is absolutely huge Coke bottles (report in supermarket to come, a little patience), hunts for sidewalk snow, poutine, maple taffy, beaver tails, -30 ° C with a radiant sun, the dry cloths (Gaëlle finally!) and especially especially .... Taxes and gratuities not included! (A horror for us because we often forget to add them and do not think we pay too much ..... when in fact!)

Well then yes, it's true that our English was not much improved, we have no English friends, that our jobs are not at fixed times and we do not have an apartment just for us.
Believe us these are things that we wanted to change or have the beginning, but life is not always made of what was planned.
Here often, when people order in English and benchmark our focus is trying to talk French.
The friends we made are like us, PVTistes is our common point. We have not yet found common ground with the English and although the urge to jump on them in the street or in a bar, asking them to be our friends, we have crossed my mind and what n is not how it works!
We have not stopped looking for work on the internet asking ads, respond to offers but here as elsewhere there is not always what we want as quickly as expected and often experience is required (even for washing dishes or cleaning!)
The apartment also offers we have caused trouble, too expensive, too far, not furnished , does not accept couples, does not so for 5 months. While we share a house! All is not ours and we're not just with each other but it was not this also the purpose of the trip? Open to others, discover, do things that we will never be in France? So here, living in a big house with people from around the world, it is probably not the remake ever!

Ah! A last thing! It was also fortunate to have wonderful families and friends, remained in France but who support us and are with us despite the distance and that's a beautiful thing, we thank you.
