This project aims to reward individuals and Arab institutions that have marked the history contemporary of the region, thus contributing to the advancement of society. "It is very important to change, even change the perception that the public has gained about the Arab world in general and its particular identity," he said during the conference, adding that the project contributes dissemination of what the reality of the Arab people and its identity, which he calls "positive."
A total of 35 nominees were selected from hundreds of nominations by an international committee of 12 experts and Arab professionals. Members of this committee were tasked to demonstrate a trial "honest and objective."
Of the 35 nominees, 10 were then selected in different categories (Takreem Award for humanitarian act for Arab Women of the Year for Excellence in Education for the ecologically sustainable development ... and many others) all were in attendance Friday at the Ecole Superieure des Affaires (ESA) in Hamra (Clemenceau), to share their expertise with the general time for a public press conference.
