Mohamed Abdel Wahab, singer, composer and lutenist, born in 1910 in Cairo. Drawing much of eastern and western music or Latin, he brought a significant revival in Arab music, shortly before the 30s. Regarded as the "Prince of Music", he managed to impose his style beyond the simple crooner. His talents as a composer are still recognized by the Orchestra Zirieb tribute.
